JAKE LEDERER

Jake Lederer is an up-and-coming, soulful rapper and musician with stories to tell. In addition to writing and composing music since the age of 6, Jake plays jazz tenor saxophone in several bands. A native of NY, Jake has studied music for over 12 years, most notably with renowned saxophonist, David Brandom. In 2023, Jake was also selected to participate in the pre-college program for Electronic Music at Stevens Institute of Technology. Beyond creating hip hop music, Jake plays piano and keyboards, and is a member of the Students of Color Club, the National Honors Society, and is the 2024 recipient of Louis Armstrong Jazz Award at his high school. Jake is currently working on his first album, and will attend the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music, majoring in Studio Composition in September, 2024.
